Cancer awareness and screening camp, which was attended by DRDA Project Director, Padmaja rani Reddy DRDA program manager Surekha, general secretary Dr. Chaturvedi. Three Government gynecologists and three nurses have attended to camp. Conducted at around 500 number of self- help groups, ANMS and Vos attended for Awareness session. 206 number of women’s were screened. Doctors explained about cervical cancer and breast cancer. They also explained how to prevent the cervical cancer in women, how to maintain menstrual hygiene and how to identify breast cancer.

Medical camp was conducted on 20-03-2022. The social work, and voluntary where role was mainly assisting the respective medical practitioner by giving
translation of communication between patients and doctor, supporting patients in attending respective specialties provide monitoring and follow ups.
Organizing the camp and coordinating DRDA was the excellent work done by the members.
