Dr. Vasudev Chaturvedi, Founder & CEO of Swastava Cancer Care, has been conferred the Manager of the Year Award 2024–25 by the Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), recognising his leadership and impact in advancing accessible, technology-driven cancer care in India.
The award, sponsored by The KCP Ltd and instituted in memory of Sri Velagapudi Ramakrishna, ICS (Retd), honours professionals who demonstrate managerial excellence alongside meaningful social contribution.
Since establishing Swastava Cancer Care in 2017, Dr. Chaturvedi has led large-scale initiatives focused on early cancer detection and prevention, particularly in underserved communities. Swastava has conducted over 100 screening camps, reaching more than 40,000 individuals, and has implemented AI-powered screening programs for breast, cervical, oral, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Key initiatives under his leadership include free HPV DNA testing, Liquid-Based Cytology, and the “Reach Them Young” campaign, which promotes adolescent vaccination, menstrual health awareness, and distribution of biodegradable sanitary pads. Swastava has also strengthened cancer literacy through a series of educational videos featuring leading oncologists.
Swastava Cancer Care has received multiple recognitions, including 5-star ratings from Tata Sons and HDFC and the FTCCI Healthcare Excellence Award, for its scalable and inclusive healthcare model.
This award underscores Dr. Chaturvedi’s continued commitment to innovation, community impact, and building sustainable healthcare solutions through leadership and purpose.
